It’s time to use both patterns over our 5 main keys and chord progressions. Even though it might feel awkward and uncomfortable at first, just remember: the more you practice this, the better you get at it and the more enjoyable and rewarding it becomes!

The Major Scale is the most important scale you will learn on the guitar. Not only does the Major Scale decode some of the mysteries behind chord construction, chord progressions, and more, the Major Scale also shows us which notes work well in any key.
What’s also nice about Major Scale patterns on the guitar is that you can move them freely up and down the neck to quickly change keys.
