Here are some great ways to make your chord progressions in the key of A more interesting. As a bonus, some of these new chord substitutions are easier to play than the original chords!

Let’s learn some common substitutions for the A chord and B chord that are found in the key of E. We trade out the standard A chord for an “A2” chord, and we trade out the B chord for a “B suspended” chord. We also look at a new version of the C#m chord learned earlier.
